About Me
My career began at the intersection of technical systems and design, following formal webmaster and web design certifications during the era of hand-coded websites. Although I chose to focus on the visual layer from the start, my technical training provided a strong understanding of how systems are built and how code shapes behavior. That foundation continues to influence how I approach digital product design today. I think in terms of structure, behavior, and implementation, not just visuals.
Early in my career, I worked as a web designer within a high-volume national digital services organization responsible for delivering and maintaining websites at significant scale. Operating in a competitive, performance-driven environment, I designed production websites for a large and diverse client base while collaborating closely with designers and developers. That period required speed, consistency, and the ability to work within standardized systems without sacrificing usability.
I later joined a SaaS-based hospitality technology company, where I worked for over a decade as a Branding & Design Specialist. My responsibilities extended beyond visual design; I developed and implemented customer-specific branding across live products and email systems, produced UI assets and layout systems, and maintained HTML and CSS for custom product implementations. Working within structured ticketing workflows, I supported large-scale product environments used in real operational settings while ensuring cross-browser and email client compatibility.
After completing the Google UX Design Professional Certificate, I expanded my focus into deeper product and system-level design. I design large-scale transactional systems in the fintech sector, including payer flows, merchant-facing experiences, and administrative dashboards. I build these systems from the ground up, focusing on clarity, structure, and usability across complex operational environments.
Throughout every stage of my career, one principle has remained constant: the user comes first. Whether designing high-volume websites, SaaS product customizations, or fintech transaction flows, my focus is on reducing friction and structuring complexity so that systems feel clear, stable, and reliable.
